The smells of spring. (Tuck’s first walk in a while). He had a prance to his step.

Happiness is

Things that make me ridiculously happy. Three days ago this dog couldn’t stand up. Today I came home and found him sitting pretty on his ottoman wagging his tail with full force (he was on the floor when I left). Meanwhile the spring camping crew departed without us. But I get to sit here with the old hound, and that is all I need today.
